September 22, 2006 - Former Herkimer County Community College soccer star Dwight Barnett has been named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) 2006 Region III Male Athlete of The Year for the second consecutive year. September 21, 2006 - Herkimer County Community College goalie Ryan Brooks-Newton has been named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Soccer Player of the Week. September 14, 2006 - Herkimer County Community College’s men’s soccer player Mark Gunsch was named Male Athlete of the Week for the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Division III, Region III. A freshman forward, Gunsch scored three goals in a 4-1 win last week against SUNY Cobleskill. He currently has four goals and three assists this season. more...
