This course is designed primarily for the student enrolled in the LAS: Science program who intends to transfer upon graduation. This course serves as an introduction to the study of college biology covering the basic components and processes of life including chemistry, cellular activities, physiology, heredity, molecular biology, biotechnology and the principles of evolution. Students may not receive credit for both this course and SC 141. Note: Offered fall semesters only.
