This course is designed to introduce students to the field of commercial photography. They begin to use the 4x5 camera and studio lighting. Emphasis is placed on the nature of commercial images and the needs of the marketplace. Topics to be discussed include architectural, product, industrial, editorial photography, shooting for the printed page, and the business of photography. Prerequisite: HU 140 or permission of instructor. Note: Offered fall semesters only.
