This course is designed to prepare students to read and write at the college level through a greater understanding of the thought processes used in composition and critical thinking. Students will be able to improve their writing skills by analyzing texts and learning to write for a specific audience as well as through implementation of their strengthened cognitive skills. Course may not be taken concurrently with EN 111. Student must pass the course with a “C” or better. Note: This course is a three-hour course that does not count toward graduation credit.
