This course is designed to address the fundamental principles of information security. Major aspects include issues associated with protecting information assets, and determining appropriate levels of protection and response to security incidents. There is an emphasis on the technical processes required to build a consistent, reasonable information security system, with appropriate intrusion detection and reporting procedures. Note: Offered spring semesters only.
