Introduction to Recreation

This course is designed to introduce the student to the different aspects of both indoor and outdoor recreation.  Aspects include but are not limited to: history, leadership roles, values of recreation, management roles, liabilities, recreational opportunities and indoor/outdoor activities.  These activities may include orienteering, hiking, arts and crafts, event planning, games and tournament set up. Activities for all age groups will be explored.
