This course provides an analysis of the labor relations process. It reviews the rights and responsibilities of both union and management in their working relationships. The discussions will focus on the negotiation of the labor agreement, including appropriate strategies and tactics and impasse-resolution techniques. Review of the administration of the negotiated labor agreement and applying and enforcing the terms of the new agreement are included. Prerequisite: BU 111. Note: Offered spring semesters only.
