This course concentrates on the central concepts of the four physical sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Astronomy. A conceptual approach is taken using equations to demonstrate the connection between theory and practical concepts rather than being used as a number-crunching tool. Qualitative or conceptual exercises will be emphasized over math-based quantitative problems to illustrate these concepts.
