Gender Studies

Gender Studies prepares students for a variety of employment opportunities and for continuing education in a number of fields. It permits students to build their academic credentials for transfer possibilities and acquire career-specific skills and expertise.
The Gender Studies program provides a strong liberal arts and science background for students. It prepares students for our changing world by showing how both men's and women's roles have been socially and culturally constructed and how this impacts our daily interactions.
Career Opportunities
Graduates find employment in public relations, counseling, social and human services, or in the health and/or education field.
