Chat with HCCC, Monday thru Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm

Our "CHAT with HCCC" uses AOL’s Instant Messenger (AIM) service. Send your inquiry to the appropriate HCCC IM account title listed below in quotes.

  1. For general Admissions questions, go to “HCCCGenerals1”
  2. To discuss Academics & Degree Programs, go to “HCCCGenerals2”
  3. To discuss Athletics & Intramurals, go to “HCCCGenerals3”
  4. To discuss Housing information & Student Activities, go to “HCCCGenerals5”

Questions about personal or confidential information will not be answered.
Questions about financial aid must be emailed to finaid@herkimer.edu.

If necessary you may download and Install AOL’s Instant Messenger (AIM) from the AOL Website (www.aol.com) OR use AOL AIM Express or Quick Buddy (java enabled browser required) and set-up an account.

Add anyone, or all, of the HCCC IM accounts to your Buddy List,
OR
with instant Messenger go to People then click “send an Instant Message” to any one of the HCCC accounts,
OR
with Aim Express / Quick Buddy click IM and send to an HCCC IM account.

Important – AIM is not supported by Herkimer County Community College’s Computer Services. If you need HELP with AIM, go to the www.aol.com website

"CHAT with HCCC" is available only during normal business hours. It is not available on weekends or when the college is closed. Also, your patience is appreciated if an IM account turned off while another future student is assisted. Thanks!
