Federal Work Study Program
Federal Work Study provides part time jobs for students that are determined to have financial need. Students are paid on a bi-weekly basis. Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA to retain work-study positions. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study.
- Award Amounts: minimum wage to $11 per hour depending on job requirements. Students generally work 6-8 hours per week depending on their financial aid eligibility.
- How to Apply: Complete the FAFSA form. Due to limited funding, priority will be given to students who file the FAFSA early.
- Duration: Awarded Annually
- Repayment: No repayment is required. Students will be paid biweekly for hours worked and the funds are not applied to the students college bill.
