Robert Brenchley
Robert E. Brenchley, Herkimer, was appointed by the Herkimer County Legislature to the Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees on July 27, 2011. His term expires June 30, 2016.
Mr. Brenchley, regional president for Adirondack Bank since 2003, oversees daily operations of the Herkimer County branches. He is responsible for business development efforts in the market. He was previously vice president and manager of the Herkimer offices of the Herkimer County Trust Company from 1988-2003. A graduate of Herkimer High School, he holds an A.A.S. from HCCC and a B.P.S. from SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome.
A lifelong resident of Herkimer, Brenchley is active in the community. He is a member and past president of the Herkimer County College Foundation, member of Herkimer County Youth Bureau Board, St. Francis DeSales parish, Herkimer Elks Lodge 1439 and the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York (FASNY). He is a former call fireman in the Village of Herkimer Fire Department for 28 years, a charter and life member of Mohawk Valley Ambulance Corps (MOVAC) and past member of the Catholic Charities, Valley Health Services, Mohawk Homestead and Valley United Way Boards.

Michael S. Testa, Frankfort, was appointed to the Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees in November 2010. Mr. Testa’s appointment is for a term of seven years to expire in 2017.
Mr. Testa is employed as a network administrator for Herkimer County. He holds an associate degree in computer information systems from HCCC, and a bachelor’s in computer information science and masters in business administration from SUNYIT.
Mr. Testa is a Town of Frankfort board member and a member of the Board of Wardens for the Frankfort Fire Department.

Mary Ellen Clark, Secretary
Mary Ellen Clark, of Herkimer, was appointed by Governor Paterson to the Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees in July 2008. Her term expires in 2015. Mrs. Clark serves as chair of the Personnel Committee of the Board.
A registered nurse since 1982, Mrs. Clark is the school nurse at the Herkimer Jr.-Sr. High School. She holds an A.A.S. degree in nursing.
She also is a faith formation instructor for grades 9-11 at St. Francis De Sales Church in Herkimer. Mrs. Clark and her husband Russell have two children, Rebecca (Herkimer High School Class of 2006 and HCCC Class of 2008) and Michael (Herkimer High School Class of 2009).

Gary C. Luther, of Dolgeville, was originally appointed to the Board of Trustees in 1996. He currently is the Vice Chairperson and serves on the Personnel Committee of the Board.
Mr. Luther is President of Hopson, Luther & Harper Insurance Agency. He graduated from Syracuse University, cum laude, with a B.A. degree in Business in 1972.

Donald J. Snyder, of West Winfield, has been a member of the Herkimer County Community College Board of Trustees since 1991, and has served as Chairman since 2000. Mr. Snyder is a semi-retired attorney providing counsel since 2002 to the firm of Cosentino, Snyder & Quinn. He was a partner with Cosentino, Snyder & Snyder from 1966 to 1998, specializing in real estate closings, title examinations, personal and corporate income taxes, estate and probate matters, personal injury/DWI/traffic, foreclosure/bankruptcy, estate planning and Will preparation, and presently serves as defense attorney for numerous insurance carriers as counsel to the law firm of Gitto and Neifer of Binghamton and New Hartford. Mr. Snyder also served as assistant District Attorney, in traffic matters, for Herkimer County from 1966 to 1978.
Mr. Snyder served as Senior Court Attorney for Judge Henry LaRaia of the Herkimer County Family Court from 1991 to 2002. He also was attorney for the Town of Winfield (1970-1998), Village of West Winfield (1966 to 1978), and Mount Markham Central School (1971 to 1998).
Mr. Snyder earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Siena College and Juris Doctor and L.L.B degrees from Albany Law School. Upon his retirement, as Court Attorney, he enrolled at Herkimer County Community College and earned an Associate in Arts degree in Fine Arts.
Mr. Snyder has been a member of the Herkimer County, Oneida County, New York State and American Bar Associations since 1966, and served as President of the Herkimer County Bar Association from 1995-97. Mr. Snyder serves as Vice-Chairman of the Herkimer County Planning Board. He is a member of the board of directors of the Herkimer County College Foundation, the Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York and Mohawk Valley Estate Planning Council. Mr. Snyder is the Lead Counsel for Our Lady of Lourdes Charitable Trust (2003 to present) and has served as Parish Counsel President, Finance Chairman and Building Committee Chairman. He has held numerous offices and memberships in a variety of organizations including: Fleet Bank Regional Board: Rotary Club of West Winfield; American Legion; Yahnundasis Golf Club, serving as President since 2006; Cedar lake Golf Club; West Winfield Library; Central New York Abstract Corp; and Mt. Markham Central School Board, President 1970-1971. Mr. Snyder was honorably discharged as a Captain from the United States Army Infantry.
