Student Services

All high school students who take College Now classes are eligible for the following services at Herkimer County Community College:

ID Cards/Library Privileges

Soon after they register, students may request an HCCC Student ID card which will give them full browsing and borrowing privileges in the HCCC library while they are enrolled in College Now. They may request this ID Card by contacting the College Now office. They also receive a username and password that will allow them to log onto HCCC Library databases from any computer. The number of the College Library is 315-866-0300, extension 8272.

Transfer Counseling

Students may schedule appointments with the transfer counselor at HCCC, Katie Schwabach. Ms. Schwabach has access to program requirements of most colleges and universities in New York State, as well as many colleges across the country, and can answer most of your questions about preparing for college.
