Grant Writing for Non-Profits
This course runs from March 1, 2012 - April 5, 2012
Instructor: Michael Flinton
This course will delve into finding, writing, and getting grants for a variety of not-for-profit organizations. By examining four main funding sources (government, corporations, foundations & individuals) you will be able to organize your grant process and write proposals to the sources most likely to support you. Grant writing can become as much a part of your organization’s operations as preparing the annual budget. Participants will be encouraged to bring actual grant applications with them to work on over the course of the program. If you don(tm)t have a grant or funding source in mind, assistance will be provided to help you find one.
