Personal Care Aide (PCA) & Home Health Aide (HHA) Training
This course runs from January 1, 2013 - December 31, 2013
Both are specially trained individuals that give care on a one-on-one basis in the patients’ homes.
-PCA training requires 40 hours with no clinical component.
-HHA training requires 95 hours which includes 30 hours of supervised clinical experience.
-Certified Nurse Aide or CNA may obtain HHA certification by taking additional training specific to the HHA in the 16 hour conversion class.
