Bio

April Harris joined the faculty in the fall of 2014 as an assistant professor of Cybersecurity. Originally from New York, Harris moved to Connecticut at a young age and earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven. She worked as a government contractor conducting national security background investigations, and then returned to the Mohawk Valley and earned a master’s degree in Cybersecurity with a concentration in Digital Forensics from Utica College in 2012.
