Herkimer College is accepting applications for a highly organized and self-directed individual to be their Registrar. The Registrar works closely with academic and administrative colleagues in Admissions, Financial Aid, Advisement, College Now, Athletics and other departments. The Registrar provides leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, security, and management of activities and systems related to academic records, student registration, graduation, verifications, academic scheduling, and FERPA compliance while ensuring the integrity of student records and exercising academic policy.
The successful candidate will have experience in staff supervision; a history of commitment to customer service; evidence of experience collaborating with faculty and staff; and familiarity with contemporary software used to support Registrar functions. A Master's degree from an accredited university and experience in a registrar's office or equivalent official student records office is required.
