The JUMPSTART program is for incoming freshmen to help them transition to the academic expectations of college. JUMPSTART includes an introduction to academic resources, study skills, support services and strategies for academic success. Small group discussions facilitated by faculty and staff will engage students to ask questions, think about their personal strengths, and learn ways to be successful students. The program is open to all new accepted students.
Parent/guardian sessions will be offered while students participate in JUMPSTART. The program is free for all new HCCC students and their parent/guardian, with lunch included.
