Festival of Lights 
December 06, 2012 at 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: Herkimer Mini Park
Herkimer County Community College is planning the annual “Festival of Lights” on Thursday, December 6 at the Herkimer Mini Park, located on the corner of West Smith and Williams Streets. The Festival will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a reception at the Herkimer Area Resource Center Valley Commons, located at 344 South Main Street.
A presentation of colors by the Herkimer VFW will be followed by a welcome by HCCC President Ann Marie Murray and the official lighting of the park by Terry Dangle, principal of Herkimer Junior/Senior High School. The highlight of the evening will be Santa’s arrival by fire truck. Entertainment will be provided by the Herkimer High School band.
HCCC students participate in activities throughout the year to support the park including fundraisers and a park clean-up day.
