Herkimer County Junior & Senior High School Science Fair

Location: Gaynor Science Center located in Johnson Hall
Herkimer County Community College will host the Herkimer County Junior & Senior High School Science Fair. Student projects will be on display for the public from 11 a.m. to noon. The fair was originally scheduled for February 9 and postponed due to inclement weather.
Sponsored by ICON/Prevalere Life Sciences, the purpose of the science fair is to encourage student interest in science, technology, engineering and math and to recognize talented students of Herkimer County.
Projects will be judged by ICON scientists and HCCC faculty. Cash awards will be given to first, second and third place winners in the senior high and junior high divisions, and to the overall champion. There will also be several special awards presented. Winners will be eligible to participate in the Ying Tri Region Science & Engineering Fair in Syracuse on March 16-17.
