Shindana Cooper - Storyteller

Shindana is a professional Storyteller in the centuries old tradition of the African Griot. As a “Keeper of the Culture,” Shindana stimulates awareness in African culture and perpetuates the art of oral history. In addition to her stories about life in a small African Village, Shindana’s spoken-word renditions of indigenous and time-honored stories come from cultures all around the world.
