Walk for Human Rights

Location: RMCC
On April 29, HCCC’s First Annual Walk for Human Rights will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The one-mile walk will begin at the entrance to the Robert McLaughlin College Center. The Burmese monks will participate in this walk to bring attention to human rights abuses. Walkers will have the opportunity to carry placards of an Amnesty International priority case and sign petitions on their behalf. After the walk, participants are invited to join together for refreshments, camaraderie and human rights work.
