Film Night: "Dear White People"

“Dear White People” examines racial and cultural topics in a sensitive manner through the lens of comedy and satire. The movie is set on a fictitious Ivy League campus where African American student life is marginalized. Written and directed by Justin Simien, “Dear White People” has earned critical acclaim and a top prize at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.

The film is sponsored by Herkimer College’s Women’s Club and is free and open to the public.
