THE BYSTANDER is an educational one-man show addressing Bystander Intervention and Informed Consent. An assault occurs at an off-campus party and a range of compelling characters (both students and staff members) are confronted by the challenges of how to act as an Empowered Bystander. THE BYSTANDER contemplates a range of issues concerning personal and social responsibility, the "how to" of Intervention, and the true meaning of community. This engaging and timely show is followed by an interactive talk-back designed to further illuminate the issues brought up in the play.
