Transfer Agreement with SUNY Fredonia

Herkimer College recently entered into a new transfer agreement with SUNY Fredonia. The agreement will guarantee Herkimer students who complete an Associate in Science (A.S.) in Communication Arts: Music Industry transfer into the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration with a concentration in Music Industry at SUNY Fredonia.

Students transferring into SUNY Fredonia must have completed the A.S. degree and at least seven of the 10 SUNY General Education requirements at Herkimer and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 to be guaranteed admission with full junior standing.

Herkimer College has more than 150 transfer agreements with four year colleges and universities in both the private sector and SUNY. These agreements provide a seamless transfer for students within the SUNY system. More than 60 percent of Herkimer College students transfer after graduation.
