Fashion Club Attends Syracuse Fashion Show

The Herkimer College Fashion Club attended the Syracuse Fashion Week Gala at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse on Saturday, April 11. Every dollar raised from the event will provide 3.5 meals for the CNY Food Bank. The Fashion Club’s attendance alone generated 2,800 meals that will feed needy individuals across Central New York.

Fashion Buying & Merchandising Assistant Professor Amy Roepnack said, “We would like to thank Herkimer College and the Faculty Student Association for providing our Club with the opportunity to attend such a wonderful event and helping us give back to so many individuals in our community.” 

The Fashion Club is open to all students and exists to develop student knowledge of fashion apparel, buying and merchandising, as well as careers in the industry.
