Herkimer College to Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Herkimer College is hosting a September 11th Remembrance Ceremony to mark the 14th anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001. The ceremony will be held Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m. outside the Ronald F. Williams Library Building at the main flag poles. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Sarkus-Busch Theater in the Robert McLaughlin College Center.

Cathleen C. McColgin, Ph.D., President of the College will deliver the welcome and will be the campus speaker. Steve McMurray, VP/General Manager of WKTV will be the community speaker. Rhiannon Steele, a Business Administration major and Student Trustee of the Board of Trustees at Herkimer College will be the student speaker. Jim Traglia, music teacher at Herkimer Elementary School will provide musical support for the eighth year.
