Adirondack Watercolor Travel Show on Display at Herkimer College’s Cogar Gallery

The Cogar Gallery at Herkimer College has 20 paintings on display from the 2015 Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors Travel Show through Wednesday, January 6.

The travel show is comprised from the Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors which represents 86 works by 81 artists from the United States and Canada. The travel show selected 20 paintings from the exhibit, most of them award winning, featuring the best watercolorists from a pool of over 400 submissions. This year’s 27th annual showing was judged by Elaine Daily Birnbaum, AWS, NWS of Madison, WI and Roger MeMuth, of Cazenovia, NY, an artist and professor emeritus of Syracuse University.

The Cogar Gallery, located in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, is open to the public free of charge, 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday when the College is open. For more information, visit www.herkimer.edu/cogar.
