Kaffo and Doogan Named NSCAA All-American honors

Men’s soccer captains Femi Kaffo from London, England and Connor Doogan from Nutts Corner, United Kingdom were selected to the 2015 NSCAA Junior College Men’s All-American Team.

Kaffo is a Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies major at Herkimer College and was named first team recognizing him for six goals and nine assists in 19 games played for the Generals. He was also awarded first team and second team All-American honors between his awards from the NJCAA and NSCAA.

Doogan is a Criminal Justice: Cybersecurity major at Herkimer College and helped the Generals to 11 shutouts and had five goals, which was the fifth best on the team. He was named second team All-American honors to All-Region and All-Conference selections. Primarily a defender for the Generals in 2015, Doogan helped Herkimer to 11 shutouts. That wasn’t it as he also tallied five goals, the fifth best on the team, and helped the program to their 27th consecutive Region III Championship.

“Our Herkimer Soccer family is extremely proud of both Femi and Connor,” said Head Men’s Soccer Coach Pepe Aragon. “They were great captains and leaders throughout the season. They are true All-Americans!”
