New Transfer Agreements with SUNY Canton at Herkimer College

Herkimer College recently entered into new transfer agreements with SUNY Canton. The agreements will guarantee Herkimer students a smooth transition upon completion of the following degree programs:

A.S. in Computer Science into Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology
A.A.S. in Criminal Justice: Crime & Intelligence Analysis into Bachelor of Technology in Criminal Investigation
A.A.S. in Criminal Justice: Crime & Intelligence Analysis into Bachelor of Technology in Homeland Security
A.S. in Engineering Science into Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering Technology
A.A.S. in Human Services into Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology
A.A. in Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies into Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology
A.A. in Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies into Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management
A.S. in Liberal Arts & Sciences: Mathematics into Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering Technology
A.S. in Liberal Arts & Sciences: Science into Bachelor of Technology in Industrial Technology Management

These agreements apply to transfer students who have completed the A.A.S. degree, A.A. degree or A.S. degree at Herkimer College. Students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0. SUNY Canton assures acceptance for students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

Herkimer College has more than 150 transfer agreements with four year colleges and universities in both the private sector and SUNY to provide a seamless transfer. More than 60 percent of Herkimer College students transfer after graduation.
