Herkimer College Appoints Assistant Professor of Biology

Dr. Jennifer Adjodha-Evans, of Richfield Springs, NY, has joined the Herkimer County Community College faculty as an assistant professor of biology. She will teach courses in anatomy and physiology, biology, environmental science and ecology.

Dr. Adjodha-Evans was most recently employed at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica as a research assistant. She has also served as an adjunct instructor of anatomy and physiology, biology and environmental science at SUNY Poly, Queensborough Community College and York College.

Dr. Adjodha-Evans holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of the Virgin Islands and master’s and doctorate degrees in biology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York. She serves as president of the Adventist International Medical Missionaries.
