Precision Machining II Course at Herkimer College

Herkimer College is offering a non-credit introductory machining course.

Intro to Precision Machining II is designed to familiarize participants with the basic concepts of precision machining. The course is designed for students with some machining knowledge including blue print reading, shop math and familiarity with measurement tools. Part II will build upon these skills and include some basic GD&T and provide hands-on basic mill and lathe operations. Students will receive classroom and lab instruction to provide experience to prepare them for introductory employment in the machining industry. The class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from April 29 to June 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. Pre-registration is required by April 25. The fee is $199.
