Mark Tyoe at Fall Fest & Alumni Weekend

Mark Tyoe, Little Falls, NY, has spent over 20 years carving a niche as a chain saw artist.

Tyoe will demonstrate his work on Saturday, October 4 at Herkimer College as part of the Fall Fest & Alumni Weekend. He has grown in and with the art form, while remaining a 100% purist in sculpting. From concept to completion, Tyoe’s attention to each detail takes precedence in each commission.

The Master Professional Chain Saw artist will carve his bears from noon-3p.m. His goal is to stride in taking Chainsaw Art to a level of distinction that warrants its stature along with other fine furnishings.
A variety of activities will be available, free of charge to the public. For more information or a full schedule for fall fest visit www.herkimer.edu/fallfest or contact Vicki Brown, Director of Student Activities, 315-866-0300, ext. 8286.
