    Herkimer College Baseball Brings Home National Championship

    For the first time ever, the Herkimer College baseball team is the national champion.

    The Generals defeated Dallas College-Eastfield 9-3 at Pioneer Park in Greeneville, Tennessee in the NJCAA Division III World Series championship game, Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

    Herkimer College Baseball competing in NJCAA DIII World Series
    The Herkimer County Community College baseball team is heading to Greeneville, Tennessee for the NJCAA Division III World Series. The Generals are making the program’s eighth appearance in the tournament, drawing the lone at-large selection. Herkimer (37-7) will take on Northern Essex (42-2) on Saturday, May 28 at 9:30 a.m. The Generals are competing for the program’s first national championship.

    Herkimer College will hold a New Student Registration Day on Saturday, June 4th. Admissions and academic advisors will be available to advise accepted students and provide them with a class schedule for the fall semester. Campus tours will be available upon request.

    Herkimer College Holds In-State Tuition Rate Steady, Maintains Commitment to Affordable, Accessible Higher Education

     

    Herkimer College announced in-state tuition and fee rates for the 2022-23 academic year will remain the same. Tuition for full-time, in-state students is $2,558 per semester and part-time, in-state tuition is $189 per credit hour.

    Herkimer College Softball to Compete in National Tournament
    The Herkimer County Community College softball team will be making their 10th consecutive NJCAA Division III national tournament appearance at Carrier Park-Field of Dreams in Dewitt NY. The Herkimer Generals (32-7-1) are the #4 seed and will face #5 Brookdale Community College (30-10) on Wednesday, May 25 at 12 p.m. EST. The Generals are looking to bring home the program’s second national championship.
  • Herkimer College Appoints Kaylynn Iglesias as Director of Admissions
    Herkimer County Community College has appointed Kaylynn E. Iglesias, of Frankfort, NY, to the position of director of admissions. Iglesias will provide leadership for the College’s student recruitment and admissions operations and the development, implementation and assessment of recruitment goals and strategies.
