Cordate

Crenate

Descriptive of a margin with rounded to blunt teeth


Crenulate

Finely crenate


Deciduous

Not persistent; said of leaves falling in autumn


Dentate

Said of a margin with sharp teeth pointing outward


Denticulate

Minutely or finely dentate


Dichotomous

Branching by constant forking in pairs


Entire

Wholly without teeth or other divisions such as lobes


Fascicled

In clusters or bundles


Glabrous

Smooth, devoid of pubescence of hair of whatever form


Glaucous

Covered with a white waxy substance


Gymnospermous

Bearing naked seeds


Internode

That portion of a stem between nodes


Lamina

Blade, the expanded portion of a leaf

A single division of a compound leaf
