Director of International Programs
Herkimer County Community College seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Director of International Programs. Important member of the admissions enrollment team, with responsibility for the recruitment and retention of over 100 international students. Primary responsibilities include: recruitment of international students, travel, processing of applications, marketing and publications development, and serving as the Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) for SEVIS.
A Bachelor's degree is required in International Studies or closely related field. The ideal candidate must have excellent writing, organization, public speaking, computer, and customer service skills along with 3-5 years of admissions/sales experience. Knowledge of SEVIS, immigration rules and regulations for F-1 students, international travel, and Banner highly desired. Foreign language and experience living outside the United States preferred.
