Human Resource Specialist
Herkimer County Community College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Human Resource Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of all duties associated with the recruitment and hiring of College personnel. This individual will also be responsible for preparing or collecting confidential information for internal reports, preparing and submitting information for required surveys, maintaining updates on college personnel for college catalog and website, as well as assisting payroll with verification of salaries, and maintaining complete and current personnel files.
Experience and Educational Background:
Working knowledge of recruitment process and procedures, and knowledge of various computer software (Word, EXCEL) and ADP preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or closely related field required, Master’s degree preferred. 2 – 4 years of work experience in a Human Resources Department required.
