Refund Checks Scheduled for March 8th & April 5th

The 1st half of spring 2010 federal financial aid is scheduled to be disbursed to student accounts the first week of March. Federal financial aid includes Pell, SEOG, ACG and Federal Direct Student Loans. The full amount of New York State TAP and Aid For Part-Time Study is also scheduled to be disbursed this week.
Students that have a credit balance at this time (surplus money on their account after all billable charges are paid) will be eligible for a student refund check, provided that the student has satisfied all financial aid and attendance requirements, and has no other holds on their account. These refund checks will be available approximately March 8, 2010.
The 2nd half of spring 2010 federal financial aid is scheduled to be disbursed the last week of March. Any refunds available at this time will be available approximately April 5, 2010.
**The majority of students will not see a refund until the 2nd half of their spring aid has been disbursed to their account.
