Summer Financial Aid

To be considered for Summer Financial Aid, students must:
- Be working towards a degree or certificate at HCCC prior to the 2010 summer session.
- Be in good academic standing at the end of the Spring 2010 semester
- Have a completed 2009-2010 FAFSA in the Financial Aid Office by June 30, 2010.
- Note: Students that received financial aid at HCCC during the Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 semesters already have a completed
2009-2010 FAFSA on file.
Students should refer to the Summer Financial Aid Policy to determine what types of summer financial aid they may be eligible for.
Students that have registered for summer courses and meet the above criteria, will need to complete a Summer Financial Aid Application. The application will be available online and in the Financial Aid Office when summer registration begins.
Refund Checks Scheduled for April 5th

The 2nd half of spring 2010 federal financial aid is scheduled to be disbursed to student accounts the last week of March. Federal financial aid includes Pell, SEOG, ACG and Federal Direct Student Loans. Any students that have a credit balance at this time will be eligible for a student refund check. Refund checks will be available on April 5, 2010 in the RMCC upper lobby.
