BUSINESS PERIODICALS INDEX (1958 – present). Indexes over 300 periodicals including subjects related to hospitality.

NEW YORK TIMES INDEX (1851 – present). Access to the contents of the New York Times, including the travel section of the Sunday edition.

READER’S GUIDE TO PERIODICAL LITERATURE (1890 – present). Indexes over 200 periodicals of general interest and includes a subject and author index.

BUSINESS SOURCE PREMEIR Provides full text for more than 8,800 serials; includes virtually all subject areas related to business.

CUSTOM NEWSPAPERS A collection of 150 newspapers, national and international.

EBSCO DATABASES Various full-text and partial full-text databases.

GPO MONTHLY CATALOG Index to U.S. government publications; information on hospitality available.

GALENET DATABASES Expanded Academic ASAP and InfoTrac OneFile have information on hospitality.

WILSONSELECT Database includes full-text articles including articles about hospitality.

Careers in Hospitality and Tourism.(VHS, Call Number: VTH 2359). Discusses career opportunities in three areas of the hospitality and tourism industry: food service, lodging, and recreation or travel-related service.

Check-in, Check-out:Managing Hotel Operations.TX911.3.M27V352 2005. This book provides coverage of the hotel's front office and all of the support positions that make it work.

Dictionary of Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. Ref. G155 .A1 M397 1994. Defines more than 1,000 terms used in the study of travel, tourism and hospitality.

Event Planning: Ethics and Etiquette. GT3405.A547 2003. A guide for professionals and novices on keeping personal and professional boundaries from being crossed.

Event Planning Made Easy. GT3405.W64 2005. Illustrates steps on how to organize an event.

Hospitality and Travel Marketing. TX911.3.M3M67 2002. Discusses the relationship between marketing and the tourism industry.

International Encyclopedia of Hospitality Management. Ref.TX905.I57 2005. Covers all the relevant issues in the field of hospitality management from both a sectoral level and a functional one.

Internet Marketing in Hospitality. TX911.3.E4C68 2004. Instructs and acts as a resource for using the Internet as a marketing tool.

Marketing Your Event Planning Business. GT3405.A554 2004. This book offers advice on targeting talents and clients.

Meetings, Expositions, Events, and Conventions: An Introduction to the Industry. TX911.2.F455 2005. Topics covered in this book include venues, sponsors, organizers, exhibitions, special events, food and beverage, program planning, convention and visitor bureaus, legal issues, technology, and international issues.

Opportunities in Event Planning Careers. GT3405.C35 2003. Lists jobs and opportunities in event planning.

The Special Events Advisor:The Business and Legal Guide for Event Professionals. GT3405.S67 2003. This book covers all the legal and business issues that special events professionals need to understand.

Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality. Organization whose mission is to raise awareness of the needs of all travelers with disabilities.

Hospitality Links. Links to websites with information on all aspects of the hospitality industry.

Hospitality 1st. Information & news related to the hospitality industry.
