SC 120 - Introductory Chemistry

This course will provide the student with basic concepts in chemistry: atomic structure, bonding, nomenclature, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, oxidation-reduction reactions and acid-base theory. No previous chemistry is required for this non-lab science, but a basic understanding of algebra is recommended. Successful completion of this course also prepares the student for SC 125 or SC 153.
