This course provides students with both a practical and theoretical understanding of operating systems and their role in modern computer systems. Topics include process management, virtual memory, device management, spooling, multitasking, network connectivity, file system and security. The installation, configuration, management and troubleshooting of a current Microsoft Windows operating system will be covered in detail.
Course Requirements »
For this course students need a computer running Windows 95 or higher with a CD ROM drive. Windows 98, NT or 2000 required (2000 recommended).
