Social Media Workshop Series

Herkimer County Community College is offering a series of social media workshops to community members.
Facebook for Business will teach participants how business can use Facebook to increase or begin their online presence. Topics include how to establish an account, the proper use of photos, how to engage “likes,” respond to complaints and more. The workshop is to be held Thursday, March 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. Pre-registration is required by March 4.
LinkedIn is a social networking site for business professionals. Participants will learn how to connect with other professionals in the region or area of expertise, post an event, and list his/her company. The workshop will be held Thursday, March 21; from 6 to 9 p.m. Pre-registration is required by March 18.
Google Marketing will detail the many ways to put one’s business on the map. There are many ways to effectively utilize the many facets of this popular search engine to the benefit of your organization. The workshop will be held Thursday, April 4; from 6 to 9 p.m. Pre-registration is required by April 1. The fee is $29 per workshop or register for all three for $79.
