Herkimer County Community College’s Student Activities Committee will sponsor six films to be shown on campus throughout the fall 2011 semester. All films are open to the public free of charge, and will be screened at 7pm in the Sarkus-Busch Theater located in the Robert McLaughlin College Center.
The first film in the series, “Bridesmaids,” will be shown Wednesday, August 31. The film is about a woman who is chosen as her best friend’s maid of honor. Lovelorn and broke, Annie looks to bluff her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals with an oddball group of bridesmaids. Rated “R,” two hours.
The schedule for the fall semester is:
September 21-Cars 2” (7pm)
October 19-The Hangover” (5pm) and “The Hangover 2” (7pm)
November 16-Cowboys & Aliens” (7pm)
December 7-How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (7pm). All films are in the Sarkus-Busch Theater.
