Herkimer County Community College is offering various non-credit courses.
Journey to Your Inner Self will help you resolve personal challenges, change negatives into positives, gain clarity in your relationships, purge emotional baggage, reach goals without struggle and glimpse your life purpose. The class will meet for four sessions on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting September 13. Pre-registration is required by September 7. The fee is $49.
Introduction to Genealogy will provide participants with the knowledge and tools to begin their exploration into their family history. The class meets for five sessions on Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. beginning September 14. Pre-registration is required by September 8. The fee is $63. Participants are encouraged to bring in their own research.
Save $ with Homemade Greetings is designed to teach participants how to create decorative and meaningful cards for a fraction of the price of store bought cards. This class will meet for five sessions on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting September 16. Pre-Registration is required by September 10. The fee is $70.
Ten Local Plants will teach you the medicinal and nutritional value of ten plants that grow in our bio-region. Herbal first aid and specific herbs for particular ailments will also be discussed. This class will meet Thursday, September 16th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required by no later than September 8. The fee is $24.
