PowerPoint Classes Offered at HCCC

Herkimer County Community College is offering non-credit computer courses in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Introduction to PowerPoint will teach students unfamiliar with this popular software the basics of creating simple slideshow presentations, choosing and changing color schemes and much more. This hands-on course is a must for the active business professional and anyone who needs to make effective presentations. The class is one session and will be held on Wednesday, April 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required by April 1. The fee is $39.
Advanced PowerPoint is designed for those who have previous experience with this popular software. Students will learn to create enhanced, professional slideshow presentations that include tables, graphs and more. In addition, students will learn to use triggers to package slideshows for sharing. This hands-on course is a must for the active business professional or anyone who needs to make effective presentations. The class is one session and will be held on Friday, April 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required by April 12. The fee is $39.
