42nd Annual Commencement

Herkimer County Community College’s 42nd annual Commencement will be held Friday, May 21 at 5 p.m. in the gymnasium of the Physical Education building.
The invocation and benediction will be given by the Very Reverend Dr. Anthony Michael Barratt, Church of the Annunciation, Ilion, NY and Our Lady Queen of Apostles, Frankfort, NY.
Marc W. Butler, NYS Assemblyman, 117th District and Vincent J. Bono, Vice Chairman of the Herkimer County Legislature, will bring greetings to the Class of 2010. HCCC Student Government President Kevin Ziesenitz, Clinton, will deliver the student greeting. The student address, “The Places You’ll Go” will be given by graduating senior Nicole D. McLean, a Physical Therapist Assistant major from Hartwick, New York.
Degrees will be conferred upon the Class of 2010 by President Ann Marie Murray. The College’s first president, Robert McLaughlin, will receive the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from the State University of New York.
Admission to the ceremony is by ticket only. Non-ticket holders may view the ceremony on a large screen in the Robert McLaughlin College Center Sarkus-Busch Theater. The ceremony will be broadcast live on HCTV, Time Warner Cable channel 99. There will also be a live webcast of commencement at http://www.herkimer.edu.
A reception for graduates and their guests will be held in the Robert McLaughlin College Center immediately following the ceremony.
