Athletes Named to Green and Gold Club

Herkimer County Community College recently selected two student-athletes for the College’s Green and Gold club for the month of February.
Joe McGrath (Redhook, NY/Redhook HS) played a significant role on the men’s swim team at the Regional Championship meet in February. In each of his individual events he placed higher than he was seeded, and he swam his best times on the relay team. “Joe is extremely hard working and never complains. He maintains a positive attitude and always gives it his all,” says coach Vicki Brown.
Women’s basketball player Stacey Salisbury (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady HS) led the Generals in February by averaging nine points and 6.8 rebounds per game. She made the game-winning shot in the last regular season game at North Country Community College and was the go-to player down the stretch for the Generals.
HCCC’s Green and Gold Club honors an outstanding male and female athlete each month.
