Boater Safety Course Offered

Herkimer County Community College is offering a Boater Safety Course.
Boater Safety is designed to meet the legal New York State requirements for boating safety. This course requires a minimum of eight hours of instruction. Participants will receive a safety certificate upon successful completion. Topics covered include: introduction to boating, boating law, boating problems and storing and protecting your boat. The class is one session on Saturday, April 17 from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. Pre-registration and payment are required by April 13. The fee is $20.
