Cogar Gallery Features American Watercolor Exhibit News RSS Feed

November 15, 2012

The Cogar Gallery at Herkimer County Community College is featuring works from the 2012 Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors (ANEAW), November 15 through January 11.

This exhibition features works from many of the most outstanding, living watercolor artists in North America. The travel show encompasses a wide range of styles and visions, including award winning pieces from the highly competitive juried exhibition at View in Old Forge, NY. Paintings chosen for this year’s exhibition were selected based on their depiction of light and the theme “sparkle and glow.” ANEAW has been ranked one of the ten best competitive watercolor exhibitions in the country by The Artist’s Magazine.

The Cogar Gallery is located in the Hummel Corporate and Professional Education Center, at the main entrance to the Robert McLaughlin College Center. It is open to the public free of charge Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. when the College is open. Visit online at http://www.herkimer.edu/cogar.
