Herkimer County Community College is offering non-credit personal interest programming.

Making Movies with Windows Movie Maker will instruct participants how to make home movies and slideshows using the popular Windows Movie Maker software. Participants will learn to make professional looking titles and add effects, transitions, music and narration to digital video clips. The class is four sessions on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. beginning June 7. Pre-registration is required by June 1. The fee is $85. A flash drive is required and not included in the course fee.

Watercolor Painting will introduce participants to the use of transparent watercolor, learning value and perspective in design and color to enhance a variety of styles. Students will learn glazing techniques such as applying color on top of color. The class is four sessions on Tuesday evenings from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. beginning June 8.  Pre-registration is required by June 2. The fee is $59. Art supplies are required and not included in the course fee.
